Capped exclusively for hip-hop inspired burger joint Milky Lane – a rappers delight of old school street art featuring oversized portraits of notorious hip-hop icons, bouncing low-lows, 90s neon lights and dripping candy-coloured food graffiti. From ceiling-to-floor, every location is an original work of art.
So when they called on Biggie Smalls to design their unlabelled custom-made wine range, it was an open brief on our very own blank wall. We approached New York artist and renowned typographer David Milan, to create the label art.
Milan’s trademark free-flowing brush strokes and letterforms are amplified with an embossed glossy finish to create a lustrous ‘juicy’ paint effect, with each varietal repping brand colours of black, pink or blue.
